HOW TO GET A STATE ID?

Hello everyone,

I am just tired of bringing my passport everywhere i go..name it, at the club, restaurant or wherever where ID is a requirement.. because i have to show them that i am legal to drink. LOL! So how what are the requirement to get a Florida State ID? And can i get it on that very day that i apply for it? I already applied for AOS and EAD..do i need to bring something with me? I have my SSN but my name is undeer my maiden name since i applied for it before i got married. Thank you in advance for all your help :)

September 29, 2009-: Biometric Appointment

December 7, 2009: I-751 approved, card production ordered (10 Year Green Card)

Claudeth was able to get a California state I.D. with her EAD.

Can u still get a Florida State ID card without the EAD or Greencard because i just applied for it.

After reading those requirements it looks like they may mail the identification card. WE made copies of the passport and use that for ID.

where are you in florida? i am also in florida an hour drive from daytona beach ... if you want to get a florida state id you just need your passport... i am just waiting for my id coz they will just mail it to me .. the timeline is 1month.. if i remembered it correctly the payment is $5. bydways where are you in phil?

where are you in florida? i am also in florida an hour drive from daytona beach ... if you want to get a florida state id you just need your passport... i am just waiting for my id coz they will just mail it to me .. the timeline is 1month.. if i remembered it correctly the payment is $5. bydways where are you in phil?

WE are in brooksville, about an hour and fifteen minutes from daytona. My wife is from makati, born in S Cotabato.

I went to DMV where they also process State ID. And all they needed from me is my passport and my NOA1 for AOS. They said Tallahassee will process it and they will send my State ID from the time i applied for it, so that was a week ago. Thank you to everyone who reponded to my post!;) It helped alot! :thumbs:

Every april at 9 eagles drive in tampa for 3 days there is a philfest. We go on saturday. The food is good and so are the talent shows.

Passport and I-94 (expired I-94 is fine)

Notice of action advising of applying for permanent residence

Marriage license

Social security card or letter

Proof of residency in South Carolina

I'm the USC.

11/05/2007........Conditional permanent residency effective date.

01/10/2008........Two-year green card in hand.

08/08/2009........Our son was born <3

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.

Those on temp work (or student) visas can--but the expiry date of the ID will be (post 9-11) the same as that of the visa.
