Hi

I am Green Card and applied for my spouse Green card application in May 2021. My spouse is on F1 student visa so we applied for Adjustment of status, EAD and Green Card application. Biometrics are already done on August 12, 2021 and now her case status is ready for interview. I received emailed that case is ready to schedule for interview.

Can anyone tell me how long it will take to schedule the interview and after interview how long it will take to issue GC and EAD.

...

Thank you

Depends on the workload of the local office.  Some local offices schedule interviews relatively faster than others. Assuming she meets all the other qualifications, it could take a year, but hopefully less.  EADs are taking, in some cases, up to 8 months after submitting the I-765.

If you expedite  EAD with a job offer and prove hardship, then it might work ,no harm in applying  ,also find  out your senator, and ask for his/her help.you can do that by searching through your Zip code, they will ask you to fill a form before doing anything.if lucky enough  to live in any sanctuary  city ,that may have added advantage.

Hi

Today Dec 9, 2021 I had my Green Card adjustment of status interview at USCIS Detroit - MI office. The counselor who interview just asked the information provided in AOS application form. first he asked my spouse and then from me. Interview took approx 60 minutes and at the end of interview she gave us a paper and she said we will notify you our decission on your application within 30 to 60 days.

Can anybody share what does it mean. if it is approved or not. when i check my case status it says your application is under review.
