Cr1 case. US citizen wife makes close to $20000 per year. So sponsor is required, yes?

A joint sponsor is required.

Also can sponsor be the us citizen's sister?

Assuming the sister is a US citizen, American Samoan, or US LPR, yes.

Yes sister is US citizen.

So if i am using my sister as sponsor. Do i still need to do the affidavit of support? Do i need to show my Tax transcripts etc ? Do i need to show proof that shes my sister? proof of residency can she show her us passport or her naturalization certificate? thank you.

How much money she should make to show that she can support in her affidavit of support? she lives with her husband and both are working. i dont live with her. sorry lot of questions.

I-864 is a complex document.

for the lower 48 states it would be $32,940.

That is the necessary lower limit. Necessary is not always sufficient though.
