Hello!

I'm just beginning the immigration journey and filling out the required paperwork to bring my wife to USA from Russia.  I noticed that there is a section that allows you to enter the embassy you are requesting interview in and noticed that many people had success getting cases transferred from Moscow to Warsaw.  Wondering if it's best just to request Warsaw on the I-130 or to place Moscow in this section as this is the Country of residence for my wife.  It wasn't immediately clear whether Warsaw was only processing transfer requests or accepting initial requests for interview at US Embassy in Warsaw.   If I request Warsaw on the I-130 and it's denied because it's not a transfer request...will it automatically be sent to Moscow?   Hope my question makes sense.  Awaiting responses!!

They go off of the address you have listed for beneficiary. So if they are located in Russia and have that address listed on the I-130, it will automatically choose Russia regardless of current embassy situation

Found love, thought I wanted this path, two years later realized my partner was not worth all the stress 😁
