We were married in 2017 (religious)

We filed it in the court system in 2021. (Civil)  used the marriage contract that said 2017  .

The question is which date do I use to file I 130?

Which one is legit?

Here's the info you need.  Use the earliest that matches the requirements.

Available: Marriage certificates (Islamic or non-Islamic) in Sudan are issued by the Judiciary based on documentation provided by religious authorities who conduct the marriage.

Fees: There are fees.

Document Name:  (translation) Marriage Contract Certificate

Issuing Authority: Sudan Judiciary, Ministry of Justice

Special Seal(s) / Color / Format: Round Seal of “Sudan Judiciary”

Issuing Authority Personnel Title: Chief Registrar of the Judiciary

Registration Criteria: The marriage must be conducted in Sudan.

Procedure for Obtaining:  Applications are made to the Sudan Judiciary, Ministry of Justice, and certificates are issued based on a handwritten certificate issued by the clergy at the time of marriage.

Certified Copies Available: Certified copies are not available, but new certificates based on the Judiciary record are issued.

Alternate Documents: Marriage Document, Affidavit of Marriage

Exceptions:  For traditional marriages, a certificate may be obtained from the mosque.

Comments: The Affidavit of Marriage is issued based on a sworn affidavit from the married parties and not on a handwritten statement by the clergy at the time of marriage.
