Uscis misspelled my name now what?

I just received my Noa2 in the mail and noticed they misspelled my last name.  I filled out the change form online however now I'm worried that it could be wrong at NVC. Will the updated spelling be transferred to the NVC? Or do I need to do something separate to notify them? So upsetting

Don't worry, the spelling is most important when it comes to the visa,  and the visa spelling will match your passport spelling

YMMV

I'm the sponsor. The good thing is my forms are right. ..I'm just nervous because the USCIS approvals are wrong.  One letter. I could have died.

Even less of a concern

i had a similar issue, you need to call the NVC and tell them about the misspelling. in my case all i had to do was go to there website and submit a form to inquire.

Public Inquiry Form (state.gov) you also have to send proof that it was a mistake. ie a birth certificate or passport. i hope this helps. but call the nvc to be sure what you need.

Do I need to do this even though it's USCIS fault??? I submitted the form with USCIS to correct. Doesnt  NvC  have my packet? That would have a copy of my 129f, forms, passport, airline tickets, and birth certificate showing its USCIS. All of my documents are correct,  it's just the noa1 and NOA2 letter that is wrong

Better safe than sorry,  it's up to you.  In my case my fiance had a new passport issued. And the English translation of her name was spelled differently than all my paperwork.

Stop worrying because you are the petitioner not the beneficiary.

Years ago they used to print the beneficiary's name on the visa. I think they stopped this now.  When that was wrong members would tell them to get it fixed as at the AOS  the names would be mis matched (I don't know if that ever was an issue or not) but ppl got it corrected by sending the visa back and wait for it to be returned.

What I would do at the interview stage ask to have them check on the spelling of your name.
