gonna be doing my f1 interview soon. i got into a high quality university, have sufficient proof of funds, am from a country with low immigration rates to the US, and going to be applying for an undergraduate/bachelors degree and i have no relatives in the US.

so here are the red flags i'm worried about.

-one of my parents did grad school in the US, it's been more than 10+ yrs since and they went to my home country after they graduated. because of that, my family spent a lot of time in the US and it was where my sibling was born so they are a us citizen. they are not currently in the US but will be going as a university student too (in the same state).

-the university i am going to is the same one my parent went to. it is the only one i applied to because i really want to go (i have multiple reasons) and they had rolling decisions so i applied very early, thinking that if i got rejected i could just apply to other universities that i was considering.

im very nervous for the interview, especially because i dont have that much time before my program start date.

Which Country?
