We are now at the NVC stage in the process and have contacted NVC for our case number and invoice number.  When checking our case status on the NVC website it tells us to log into the CEAC website.  So we input our case and invoice number where it asks and it states each time that it’s invalid.  We’ve contacted the NVC twice to confirm the details they have provided us with are correct.

My question is: are we only able to log in at the embassy stage? Is this why we’re having problems?

Any advice would be great.

Did it resolve itself? I had this exact issue and I just kept trying it until it eventually just worked. Still I have no idea why.

yes literally we kept trying yesterday and I tried again today and it just worked.  So strange!

means they could take their 'sweet' time working on your application. In a sense, AP could short or long.

But it was on refused for almost 60days thou before changing yesterday to ap

It can be frustrating but that's the nature of AP; you just can't tell when it will change. Hopefully, you hear something sooner.

Yeah when I started digging about the different processes, I saw people who had AP for a few days to a year or more.  Just hang in there.  Kind of like the previous petition approval process.  There is really no logic reasoning why it is taking a while.  But at least yours was pulled back.  Do they have the passport still?  If so, that is good at least.  I know I said "fun" but it is definitely a grueling process, especially with any delay added.

I hope I am in the right forum for this question. But we received our NOA2 Feb. 5. I have not yet received a case number or invoice number. When I emailed the NVC they replied stating I will not receive that info until it gets to an embassy. The check lists are a bit confusing on the website so I just want to be sure. My fiance is from Canada for context. Did it take anyone more than 3 months to get their case number.
