Why would any American allow the government to deny him a final goodbye to the person who raised him?  Why would anyone allow grandma to die untouched in a hospital room without fighting back?  In the post-vaccination era, why don't people remove their masks?  Learned helplessness, employed as a control tool.  [...]

I went to Costco this eve.  They recently saw the light and now allow unmasking.

I was one of a tiny percentage of the unmasked there.

Not all of the masked could possibly have been at high risk because of comorbidities or whatever.

A buddy of mine, WCG (World's Cheapest Gringo), has made a habit of touring the Costco sample-givers 3 times around through the store.  He says that doing so precludes having to buy lunch or dinner.

Yeah, I have heard of folks doing this at Costco.  I don't go in for it, and honestly, get annoyed by the aisle blocking done by the sample folks.

Costco exhausts me, even on an in-&-out trip.  The chief thing is that they can't ever again lecture anyone about masks, although I'm not sure about some of the trepidatious* people.

 

* if this were a word, it would be another that contains all the vowels**
