Hi

I've submitted all required document for NVC on the CEAC by 5/10.

I've noticed the NVC is currently reviewing cases/docs received on early April.

Based on this, anyone have ideas about how long will it take to schedule the interview at Guangzhou consultant?

My wife's has to make a decision on when she will quit her job and attend that interview.

thanks.

Hey congratz! I submitted my documents on April 1st and heard back right at the beginning May. So at the moment it seems to be about a 30 review process on the NVC side. Unfortunately for me they did request additional income information which I submitted today.

As far as the interview wait times it is specific to each embassy but i am also in the process for Guangzhou. Good luck.

Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Brazil
Timeline

Just to note it is recommended not to quit her job until she still has her passport back with a the correct visa.  Goes with not making any travel plans until she gets the passport back.   Note the visa should be valid for 6 months after the date of the medical.

Good luck!
