Why is it taking so long for the interview to be scheduled though?

I submitted my application to the USCIS march 2020 and the case was sent to the NVC and became documentarily qualified by the end of October 2020, that's only 8 months for the full USCIS and NVC processes, now it's been 7 months since October 2020 and the interview isn't being scheduled

What I can do to get it scheduled ASAP

There is nothing you can do to hurry the process it all depends on the embassy you are going through and when they will have spots available for interview, once you are DQ then your app is put in order accordingly.  I had to wait 2 yrs for the interview for my wife in the Philippines and still got nailed on the sputum test which set us back 2 months farther trying to be rescheduled and receive passport n visa back to fly out before august 7th. You may be waiting 2 yrs minimum to get interview.

When did you become documentarily qualified at the NVC?

Did you start the process at the NVC June 2019 or did you end it then and we're waiting for an interview?

I don't know, however after they schedule the interview, I have heard that they send a list of all required documents to be brought for the interview

You can upload the new tax documents on the NVC website and leave in the note/comment section on what you are uploading. Make sure to bring Tax transcript along with w2 to the interview.

I think Islamabad embassy is currently working on the July 2020 DQ cases. You guys are next in line for an interview letter. There is a group on Facebook called " NVC process Help" and you can find very helpful information in the group.
