Moving after the  N-400 is submitted doesn’t cancel your application. 
 

The major difficulty is that USCIS is inept had handling address changes. There is a high probability your interview notice will go to the wrong address.  
 

If so, you don’t miss the notice, and you attend the interview, you need to inform the IO that you changed addresses.  If you don’t and you are approved, you risk denaturalization.  If you do, you risk the interview being canceled if the field office doesn’t service your address.

There are many successful stories on this topic. Occasionally the file does not get forwarded to the correct office after the move, if that’s the case and you get an interview for the old address let them know, however there are ways to check the address is updated before it gets to that point. Ensure you update both via AR11 and on myuscis.
There is no fundamental reason for a denial so whatever “horror stories” you read on that front must have related to other issues than the move.
