Hello,

My wife (non US citizen) and I filed our I-485, I-131, & I-765 early July 2020. We received an RFE in August, responded promptly, and USCIS informed us through the status check that they received my RFE docs and have begun working on my case in September.

Since then, there hasn’t been one peep from USCIS. I tried calling them, but kept getting stonewalled by the automated messaging system not allowing me to speak with a live agent.

I am wondering if anyone hasn’t received their biometrics appointment for this long, and if so, what have you done about it? Should I just keep twiddling my fingers and wait? Or is there something else I can do to “speed up” the process?

Thank you in advance for any advice or insight.

*By the way, I am located in the Bay Area (near San Francisco).

I filed in April, got bio in January... not uncommon for people to wait 8-9 months these days thanks to covid/lockdowns etc..

location dosent matter since EAD is processed by NBC not your local field office... long line and backlogs currently,, be patient it will happen

Thank you for letting me know! I guess I’ll just keep waiting as usual, haha.

I filed in January and did biometrics in October. Hang in there, they will get to you and hopefully it will be sooner than you think.

Thank you for the encouragement. Patience is a virtue, haha.
