The last time my fiancé called and emailed the Embassy was lastweek, no autoreply from his email and they hang up when my fiancé calls.

I don't know exactly their plans to our petition it's been over a year and it's frustrating.

I'm so stressed out, my medical will expire tomorrow and no words from them.

Due to the pandemic,  the CDC has authorized the consulates to extend the medical validity by an extra month.

YMMV

Thank you @payxibka but i have a question.

Are we still eligible to make a request for an interview if they have a month extention?

My fiancè really thought were done the 6mo and we even planned to do it again maybe next month.

I think it dumb, but Jan to June are the only medicals that qualify for the extension.   The smarter thing would be to cover all pandemic medicals but its the government.

I wouldn't do another medical until they resume normal processing.

YMMV

I don't know what to do anymore and the Embassy website has no update but keep posting about alliance and PH & US relationship they even suspend the Tourist Visa Appointments.

They don't answer applicants and request and we were hoping 30days before the 6mo expire because they want us to call them and BAM its not gonna happen anymore.

Thank you again @payxibka

@BOKURAGAITA I second the suggestion that you should postpone doing your medical until you have an interview appointment at USEM. Once you have an interview date, you can schedule the medical just before the interview.

Remember that your future K1 visa's validity is tied to your medical exam, so it works in your favor to wait for now. Otherwise, you may end up with a K1 visa that you can only use within an extremely short period of time. Maybe not enough time to get wrap everything up in the PH before relocating.

Have you sent any correspondence to your local goverment officials in the Philippines?  Have you sent anything to your congressman or contacted your President?

With the Philippines under the strictest lockdown since March 2020, and only a very few cases  I think you had like 1900 cases yesterday, There is no reason for your country to be shutdown.

With all the lockdowns, curfews in your country it will be a long time until the US Embassy will return to normal processing.

I think the statistics every region is not accurate at all. In Visayas they said there are like 15+ positive in one day but the next day has more negative and very less positive.

This is crazy.

Welcome :) You may also want to bring up with your fiancé that a longer visa validity gives you more options with future flights. You won't be obliged to choose inconvenient schedules / expensive flights because you're racing against the visa expiration date.

This is crazy.

Communication has always been an issue in the Philippine.

I been watching Davao City and the idiot mayor has almost killed the entertainment/hospitality market there by her lockdowns. curfews, and liqour bans.

Marco Polo Hotel has closed which was a pretty nice and popular hotel and provided many jobs for the people there, and this week VPlace announced it was closing for good due to the lockdown.  It was a great place to grab a cold beer, eat some good food and listen to bands play.  They are slowly killing the hospitality sections in the Philippines with the strict lockdowns.
