I just have to relate something that happened today. Luz, Robin and I went to the Wal-Mart to get one of those small freezers. (About the size of a large dorm refrigerator) I thought it would fit into the trunk of my car. When we got to the parking lot and tried to get it in the trunk I realized that it wasn't going to fit. We then tried to get it in the back seat. Still no luck. I was thinking to myself that I would have to take it back in and return it when a older man and his wife pulled up in their van. He asked me where I lived. I said E. Peoria (about 10 miles from where we were). He said "put it in my van, I will follow you home with it"!!!!! I said that he didn't have to do that, it was a long way to go. He said it was OK and opened the back of his van. I was so taken back by his kindness I didn't know what to say other than thank you over and over. He followed us home and Robin and I took it out of his van. I offered to pay him for his gas and he refused. At that point he said that he worked at Wal-Mart and could see that we were having a hard time and wanted to help. I asked him what his name was and the name of his supervisor. When I got inside the house I called the Wal-Mart, asked for his supervisor and told him what he did. His supervisor was very happy to hear what his employee did and assured me that this will be mentioned in the meetings over the next few days.

I just wanted to share this with you all. He really made my day!!!

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

That's so awesome Gary. I would have been thinking the guy would have taken off with it, hahaha.

If you can spare a few mins, I'd write a letter & send it to WalMart Corp so that it might go in his personnel file & maybe get some sort of formal commendation.

When Carol and I met for the first time in mexico city we went to a little market place, there was a mother of about 6 kids of all ages, the youngest being an infant. She ask us for money, I touched her on the shoulder and gave her the follow me signal with my index finger. I asked Carol to get some stuff for the babies and I took the ones that could walk to the pop cooler and got them some candy and pop (I know not heathy but wth) Carol on the other hand had a bunch of formula and diapers. You should have seen those smiles!

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Wow.. That's a terrific Story..

My story was after I left my ex-husband I took a bus back to Canada from SC and I had to change bus's in NYC (it was midnight). As I got off the bus the driver literally grabbed me and said "do you have any idea where you are going"? I mumbled something and he took my ticket and gave me explicit instructions where my gate was in the terminal. He said "run the whole way to the gate and do not stop for anyone". I took his advice, and realized that I was probably not in a safe place and wound up at my gate in once piece (there were at least 2-3 men trying to lure me away as I ran through the terminal to the gate). Anyway, I got home to Canada and immediately wrote Greyhound and told them which driver on which route and how grateful I was that he looked out for me (I was 23 at the time). Good people are out there, I call him my angel.
