you must wait for embassy to contact fiancee and tell him to get a medical exam

meanwhile you can check the documents needed for the interview to make sure he has them

they will be listed on embassy site

or in USCIS

or here under guides

not necessarily, you can book your appointment once you filled your ds160 and paid for the visa. Then you can book your medical based on the date of your appointment...i didn't wait for embassy to tell me to get medicals before I did everything I mentioned above. Once I got NVC letter...i proceeded after like 2 weeks without waiting for embassy contact. But now I guess everything is on hold.

Well thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and ideas... God bless you

I replied to an earlier question and asked that you complete your profile. That activity didn't take place, so I am unable to help you further. I have most of the instructions for most of the embassies and would share it with you to help your journey but at this time I am unable to since I have no idea your country or where you are in your timeline. If you look in the left column at others, they have a complete profile which makes it easy to opine to their questions. Look to my post on the first page of this thread and you'll see the instructions. It takes less than five minutes to complete and will give you much needed information for your upcoming steps to this process. Good luck and stay engaged in the process.
