Dear All,

My fiancé and I are filling out the I-129f form for K-1 visa. I am the beneficiary. We are missing the information for DOB and the resident city of my birth mother. My parents were divorced when I was still toddler and they lost contact since then. My father got married again and he has the full custody of children from his previous marriage. Based on what I read in this forum, I need to input the information of my parents that are listed on my birth certificate. My father has been looking for document that stated my birth mother’s details, but he could not find one (not even in his divorce paper) and we also don’t know where she lives now or if she is still alive.

Please advise what I should write on the form as we don’t have these details (DOB and residence of my birth mother).

Thank you for your help.

If you don’t know these details you can put “Unknown” in each  answer.

That’s correct.
