Hey Everyone, we have the following supporting documents for i864 affidavit of support.

1. Tax transcript from 2019,2018,2017

2. Paystub from the last three months

3. joint bank account

Thank you!

1. Only the latest is required.

2. Also send employment verification letter if available.

3. Are you using assets? If not, this is not required.

We don’t have the employment verification letter. We are not using asset, we are a family of 3 and my wife makes way over the poverty guidelines. I’ve been working for over 8 months, I earn more than my wife. We are wondering if we should include my income for the total household income?

Another question, I saw saw tax return documents. Does the tax transcript suffice for that?

Are you the immigrant? How are you working if you came on k1 and haven't applied for AOS yet?

Your timeline is confusing. Why are you looking for this now if you have already applied for AOS? Was your interview scheduled? You shouldn't need a new 864 if you already submitted one.

It’s on my timeline, I’m the immigrant and I got my EAD feb 2020. My interview is scheduled for next week, we have a new addition to our family ( our baby) hence the new i864.

Got it. Leave the joint bank paperwork as proof of real marriage. Use the latest return and paystubs with the updated 864. If she makes enough, there's no need to use your income.

Awesome, thanks a lot. I apologize for not being clearer at first
