Hello everyone,

I applied for AoS but I will apply for VAWA by the end of this year hopefully. I have EAD & AP combo card but it expires in February, so I need to renew it. Do I have to pay for the fee and when I can apply?
My case would be a little bit confusing...

Thank you.

If you're renewing your C09 combo card, then you don't need to pay for renewal.

Thank you for your comment. Current one is C09. No pay for AP too?

No, both are free. Category stays the same, just do let the office handling your I-485 know that you filed for VAWA, they won't shift it automatically.

Contradictions without citations only make you look dumb.
