I wonder how many folks remember 8 tracks?

As to EVH, I was never a big VH fan, I liked a few of their songs, but overall I tended toward others like Pink Floyd and Yes.  Regardless, EVH was a great guitarist, RIP.

Yeah, I was pretty much the same way.  Wouldn't have tried to attend a concert or anything, but he had a few decent songs I liked in the 80s.  I am more of a Eagles, Journey, Air Supply fan than any of the big hair bands.

Used to listen to an Eagles and CCR 8 track so much that the tape was getting stretched/distorted, lol.

I used to listen to my brother's Edgar Winter White Trash album on his 8 track counsel back then.  The quality was not too bad.

Eagles and Journey for sure. I had some gay friends growing up that were really into Air Supply so I was exposed to them, but never got into them

Air Supply was, and still is, a great band.  Ironically, I never went to one of their concerts until 2017.
