Can anyone who has received the interview scheduling email from the embassy clarify what months are open to appointments at this time?  From my understanding only March dates are able to be booked.  I would like to know when April opens up.

My case is in transit to the BKK embassy for the last two weeks.  There are probably many others as well since there is a backlog.  It states to contact the embassy for status when In-Transit exceeds four weeks.  I am completing the rest of the forms and paid the fee.  When the fee is paid, it allows you to schedule an interview but they embassy does not want anyone to schedule until the case is received and they send an email.  But, from my observation, only March is open at this time with the earliest appointment on March 16. Interviews are Mondays and Tuesdays only.  It looks like there may be 10 openings per day typically.  I am surprised that with all the In-Transit cases, there are not more people communicating an interview.  But, I know from postings on FB, that others are having interviews in February and March.  The embassy probably does not want to open April until March is near full because there are still many openings available.

Thanks for sharing.  I thought there might be a bigger backlog, so it's encouraging to hear there are still March interview slots still open.

I believe there is a big backlog, but I am not sure how quickly they are processing what is coming in so people can schedule interviews.  Also, we scrambled to get some documents translated and I forgot about the police report, which takes three weeks.  So there could be some that got the email, but they realized they are not ready with all the documents.  But either way, with COVID cases down over there,, hopefully they will be doing a lot of interviews.

My wife received her passport with cr1 visa today 2/18 after her interview on 2/10. During the interview they requested translated documents for her daughter's birth certificate, name change certificate, and another copy of our marriage certificate to be uploaded under the daughter's online profile to CEAC.  My wife had the certified translations done locally and emailed to me, which I uploaded to CEAC; then she mailed her and daughter's passports to the embassy, all same day 2/10.  I did receive an email prior to the interview requesting the wife's birth certificate and marriage certificate translations to be uploaded to CEAC but nothing about the daughter.  Well no harm I guess, I was able to upload all the requested documents eventually.  There are a lot of online instructions about receiving a packet along with the visa to bring to the US immigrations on arrival, but my wife received a note saying they don't do that anymore, that the documents have already been transmitted electronically.  The last thing was another payment of $220 each for my wife and daughter to https://my.uscis.gov/uscis-immigrant-fee.  Now just have to see what good flights are available; I prefer Eva but it looks like there are no flights from them until April and most are a bit higher than what I used to pay. There is a paper saying covid test needed before flight.  Don't give up hope, it will all go through eventually.
