That’s NVC. Is there a similar approach at USCIS as well - holding back applications subject to the travel limit? Haven’t seen anything like that so far.

No.  The ban only affects visa processing by DOS (including NVC), not petition adjudication by USCIS.  There was a recent report here on VJ of a petition for parent being approved in under a month.

Thanks. Under a month is exceptionally quick ... I’m at 20 months and still no approval ...

Timeline

Well, just got the note that USCIS forwarded the application to NVC. Any links on what’s the next step in this process? I’m hoping that the new administration lifts the visa ban on parents.
