Hello everyone, hope all is well.
I just have a question regarding our K1 visa. We have been in administrative processing for 18 months. We have gotten an update on ceac on September 1st then again today on September 3rd. I was just wondering what it means when you case keeps on updating on ceac. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions.
thank you.

He is from Afganistan and traveled to Pakistan and so the reason for the long AP which  those 2 issues prompts

updates on the CEAC sites means case has been looked at by immigration officer/  they may have recd some background info for their security checks/or they may have asked one of these countries for additional info

I already knew the reason for the long AP was because he is from Afghanistan and he has traveled to Pakistan. Thank you for letting me know again lol

however, I wasn’t sure about the frequent updates. I kind of had an idea it might be because of them working on the case but wasn’t too sure so thank you for confirming.

Every time your case is "touched" your date will change. It signifies that someone is touching your record. Very normal and nothing you should do or be concerned about.
