Hi yes exactely, to both of your question. For now, LIN is the 2nd fastest office as many people's fingerprints have been waived. You can check our google sheet. (The fastest still being EAC office which is in VT)

while this might be true, i do not understand their way of work. They waived my daughter's fingerprint and poor me is still waiting to hear something on my case. i might have to call tomorrow.

hi yall,

we are preparing to send the forms next week and we have been asking on October forum for fees and updated  forms but for questions that has to do with filling out the forms, we prefer to ask it here so we know if somebody filled something wrong, they will know by now.

anyway, on parts 7 and 8, under the paragraph of "acknowledgment of appointment..." there is a space after the "I".

we saw on youtube videos that this space will be filled automatically with the initials of the petitioner and the spouse but ours didn't. so can we write in black ink our full name? or do we have to write the initials only? or it doesn't matter? thank you in advance

Oh it is not just yours, probably there is something wrong which the design of the form. So I just signed my name there.

and you wrote your full name right? because if for example if your name is john doe, all youtube videos were writing on that part : J.Doe. so do you recommend writing the full name or the initials? and thank you for the fast response by the way

And I mistakenly left it blank, We did sign it though. We'll  see what happens with that.

Yeah I’ve been waiting 45 days with no movement and it’ll probably be a few months before any of us at MSC get biometric appointment. There’s people way ahead of me still waiting so there’s probably a 3 month back log they have to get through before sending any of the recent months petitions a biometric appointment letter. We’ve got a bit of a wait just gotta be patient with it unfortunately.

Sadly I think the waiting part is going to be the general theme moving forward. I can’t apply for citizenship now till September 2023. I’ll have to wait for 5 year rule instead of 3 now, so at least I guess I’m not in any rush haha.

I feel if there is something wrong, they would have already sent you back the forms since the lockbox checks if all the signatures are there

We signed them, I just didn't print our names like the program used to do for you. Maybe it happens a lot and they just take care of it.

Oh it is the same for me as well. Only one name was printed out, but not the other one. So I signed it as well. I believe it is a design flaw in the form when they create it (Suppose it should be automatically filled when it detects you have entered your name)
