Conflicting/confusing information for an Address Change

Hello all,

Currently my I-129F is sitting at the NVC since April like many others, and while it has been sitting there I have changed addresses.  I found that I should contact the USCIS for an address change, so I did this from the following page: https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/addressChange.do

Once I did that however, I got this email from them.

So of course I do as said, and contacted the NVC.  However when I did this I got this message back.

Currently anything being sent to my previous address is being forwarded to my new address through USPS, however I would highly prefer to have this information updated.  On top of this, I have recently changed internet providers so my current E-Mail address that I filed my form with is also going to expire, should I contact them about this to get that updated as well?

Thank you!

Thank goodness the petition is at NVC then.

As the USC, you only need to update your address with the USCIS if you have a pending case (which you don't) or an active in place i864 (which you don't).
