I-944 removed from USCIS website

I just noticed that USCIS has completely removed the I-944 from their website now so I think that it is safe to say that they definitely don't want people to submit them as of now.

 

Just thought i'd share!

Checked with my attorney and sent my AOS package without i944 yesterday.

The I-944 message is based on a ruling by a district court judge in New York.  It may be that the USCIS successfully appeals that ruling to the U.S. Court of Appeals or the U.S. Supreme Court, and that could happen any time. So, if you wish to file without the I-944, I suggest that you mail the application ASAP, to be sure it gets received before the appeals court enable the USCIS to again require the form.

Yeah, I have read about that. I am filing next week so hopefully it will still be in effect by then.

The appeals court just reversed the injunction. Seems like the 944 will be back on at any time. Ridiculous!

I'm also confused. We are mailing everything tomorrow or Saturday. I fear if we don't send it they may reject it but the form 944 isn't available on USCIS.

Same situation here. We were gonna send it this weekend but now we are not sure if we should wait or if its better to just send it off ASAP.

I would say get your applications in ASAP because this keeps on changing. USCIS is probably just as confused which is probably why they removed the I-944

Yeah, we'll try to get it in today, if possible. So theoretically, this should only affect people from those three states from now on? Obviously this may change as well...

That is what I am getting at but someone else may be able to chime in with their interpretation.

Express ship it today, so they will receive it tomorrow. USCIS is not gonna reject your 484 bcoz of missing 944 even if they change the current policy due to the latest injunction.

Personally I would definitely take that chance.

 

Meanwhile, continue preparing the 944 and keep it ready if they ask you to submit later.
