From the last few months they are issuing interview letters in second week of the month.  In my opinion all the May DQs will get their interview letter on 12 or 13 January. But you never know it's ISL embassy, they do not work as per logic, they work according to their mood. Hope!!!!

It’s going to be 19th January in my opinion! If not, can expect something on 12th-15 too.

well i won’t argue.. but i would still say .. I have seen people where husband/wife didn’t have orginal divorce certificate of there USC spouse (divorced in PAK) .. and then Embassy asked them to send it asap to process visa further..

I have my friend sent it frm here in US via fedex right after  his wife got IL.. she took it with her..

well at the end its all your choice..

I respect your opinion and I think you are right. In your experience the USC spouse was divorced in Pakistan and in my cousin was divorced in the US. I'm still confused about the logic behind the original document in both cases. But I understand your point that it's good to have the original to be on safer side.

DQ- April 27

The entire process was like about  2 years..

Actual Interview was 2-3 mintues long.

I was the most depressed ,worried,  freaked out person here lol 😂😭

Mash Allah congratulations to you!!! I am actually in very similar situation as you. My husband was DQ May 29 waiting for interview. Miss him toooo much. I haven't seen him since July 2019. I am very very nervous/depressed/freaked out and anxious for his interview. We want his in urdu just like you but maybe they will do it in English like yours. Thank you for heads up. What did he carry his documents in? Were wedding pix in album or your husband just handed her the pix? Did he take chat/call logs with him? One last question, was your joint sponsor meeting all requirements? Our joint sponsor is a little bit less than requirement for income so I am a little worried. Thank you and looking forward to your advice.

Hey are planning to travel to Pakistan? I am also going to Lahore via Qatar at the end of this month.

Yes, I am traveling on the 22nd Jan for the birth of my son in Pakistan. I am planning to take the COVID test 3 days before the departure date. I hope that's enough time for them to return the results. Such a hassle.

Yes, my friend traveled in Qatar and I did in Etihad, the covid test is must for Qatar and other airlines, required by Gov of Pak, 96 hours before your flight. Once you arrive at the airport to depart, make sure your test has not pass more the 96 hrs.

Thanks for the info. I hope the testing site returns the COVID test results in 3 days.

My husband didnt sumbit anything at all before the interview . He just took everything along with him. I would actually suggest everyone NOT to upload anything speicially for interview.. i feel like if you upload beforehand they ask you way more questions..

We didnt upload or take any money reciepts gift receipts. Nothing..

They just checked the wedding pictures, marriage certificates, birth certificate.

My husband said even the secuirty asked for his Nikah Nama (Marriage certificate) asked him if its his and mine first marriage..  than the interviewer lady who was american asked

What is your wifes name ?

When is her birthday?

I see you have a joint sponsor whats their name ?

How is the joint sponsor related you?

What does your wife do there ?

How did you decide to get married? Meaning how did you meet?

At the end she asked another question which my husband didnt understand.. and he said i told u i want my interview in urdu i need help. Than the lady

Said "kya you ka pehlaa pehlaa shaadi"  in her accent ..

Than she asked for weddings pics and looked at 70 pics in 5 seconds. Like shes playing a card game lol..

My husband said any more questions you want any more proof? To what she said No. Bye bye. You may go.

My husband took a update police certificate too but he wasnt asked for it at all..

So Nikkanama, Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate, Wedding Pictures were all taken to the interview?

I'm assuming your husband also brought the Visa Confirmation Page from NVC, passport, police certificate and passport (4x5 photos) as well?

anything else I'm missing?
