Ref. Australia, your site says that the main issue is the exit ban on residents. This is not the only issue. My fiancé and I looked at options for his moving here to be with me before we applied for the K-1 with the USCIS. We looked at that again over the weekend and it turns out that Australia will allow partners and spouses into the country but it specifically calls out those coming into the country on a prospective marriage visa, which is similar to that of the K-1. It says here at https://covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/immediate-family-australian-citizen-or-permanent-resident

Quote

Partner (subclasses 100, 309, 801, 820) and Child (subclasses 101, 102, 445) visa holders can come to Australia. You do not need to request an exemption to Australia’s travel restrictions.

Prospective Marriage (subclass 300) visa holders can’t come to Australia at the moment.

(emphasis mine)

Those travelling for love - without a substantive visa are considered tourists here as with other countries and are not considered. :(

Anyway. I thank you for your efforts and hope that all our governments will work to support all of us who are in this situation together but apart.
