Hey there,

I was perusing some various immigration boards and there was talks about Canadian citizen, who are in the US and waiting for their AoS, that they booked their own biometrics appointment at an ASC.   I was wondering if anyone in my situation has done this, and if so, how.

It really doesn't make sense that this is possible, due to the fact I'm waiting for a US AoS and not a Canadian visa. However, I'm still intrigued if it is possible

I've never seen/heard of anyone be able to book their own biometric appointment. Now in the past, some centers allowed walks in's, but I wouldn't categorize that under booking your own appointment. As of today walk ins are not allowed and not all application support centers have even opened yet. I saw you JUST filed your I30/(and presumably AOS?) so I think it will be a few months before you are called since everyone that has been canceled since March-July would be going first.
