To sponsor me my husband need 27k and he make this 29 which is the more just 2 k more thats taxes 2019 he was make 32k so do we need joint sponsor to be in safe zone ?

thanks for y’all so much

It would be wise to have a joint sponsor yes .. the interviewing officer will make the final decision and you may not need the joint sponsor .. but, by lining it up before hand, it will save you time if you do

without knowing what state / city you are headed for in the US,  this cannot be truly answered here

but out of $27000 with no state taxes withheld,  SS ,  medicare and federal taxes,  the USC is actually bringing less than 23,000 home

that is national average put out on the following site that calculates withholding and difference between gross and taxable income

https://us.icalculator.info/salary-illustration/27000.html

That being said  any CO will take into consideration where you intend to live as living cost varies immensely in the US

NYC,  Miami,  parts of California are extremely expensive places to live while my state and a few others are relatively cheap

this counts for the "totality of circumstances when income is considered

your june post says the USC had to get a corrected W2 and file 1040x to amend taxes to show the corrected income as higher than originally on 1040 returns

Has IRS accepted that 1040x return?  The new w2 has to match the taxes and SS and medicare that was withheld by the employer

the USC would be wise to line up a joint sponsor in case the CO says one is needed during your interview

No one can tell you how the IO will view your assets. Safest route is to have a joint sponsor lined up and paperwork in hand
