Hahahaah :D :D *grinz* - this thread is a PEACH! :P

Ben got this look of extreme fear in his eyes whenever I mentioned the words "Green Card" or "Adjustment of Status Interview" *laughs* - so I took care of it, and informed him slowly and gently of what was happening, so that he could feel less afraid and "ok". He really equated the whole process with the sentence "yes, but she could get denied!!!" :hehe:

He took care of other things and let me do my scrapbooking and stuff. I honestly think dealing with the government scared the living ####### out of him 'til the end - he was really feeling the pressure in the waiting room!

But he's good at other things: electrical things, building things, math, organising the business etc - then there are things that are my role, ya know?(F)

I live in Canada there buddy that happens to not be that much different from the USA. I get free health care.:lol::lol: And back in the day people from USA escaped to come to Canada because it was a better country with better rules.:lol::lol: I don't need the USA.:lol::lol:

:lol::lol: Sounds like something someone would say from Cana "duh". My ex-wife is from Canada and got to the U.S.A through NAFTA and not with any help from me. She had very few good things to say when it ccame to the great country of Cana "duh". I especially love that her mother was hit by a car and had to wait MONTHS for needed surgery. Thats GREAT health care. I agree that the posters comments about you being grateful about the Visa were out of line but your comments about Canadian Health Care and Canada not needing the U.S. had me laughing out loud.

I don't know anything about Canada's health care system, but I do know that the national health care system in Ireland is like that, real care requires private insurance there according to my husband.

Anyways, I also wanted to comment on the original post. My husband hasn't been as involved in all of this as I have been and I am the USC. He doesn't know much about the process and I know that worried me when it was his time to deal with packet 3 and his interview, but he managed. He asked me questions on some things and needed help with the proper terms, but he did it just fine. When we recently filled out the AOS and EAD things, I was frustrated that he couldn't be more help but to his credit he sat with me and did his best to help despite his limited knowledge. The thing is I had already done all the research so it seemed silly and counterproductive to tell him to do it over once we sat down to start filling out forms and compiling.

Wow. My finace gathered and prepared most of the documents we sent.

He also kept his head each time we met and kept receipts and boarding passes. On our last trip together, I handed him all my boarding passes, and he even had the idea to use a film camera that stamps the dates on the pictures instead of my digital cam that doesn't.

He was the one who found this site, and read up and showed me what we'd need. It was nice being able to read it al myself so I'd kow what we were doing. Once he'd sent the stuff he had gathered, I was able to add my own. It's really been a truly cooperative endeavor for us.

It's not him doing it, or me doing it, but us doing it together.
