Has anyone whose EAD was approved after 06/17/20 gotten tracking info?

Hello, so someone shared an article with me (https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/how-the-trump-administration-is-turning-legal-immigrants-into-undocumented-ones/2020/07/09/15c1cbf6-c203-11ea-9fdd-b7ac6b051dc8_story.html) and it's about how the contract with the USCIS' previous card printing provider lapsed and that all card production will move in-house at the NVC. This occurred around mid-June and I have noticed from timelines that no one on Visa Journey has yet to receive their card if they were approved after 06/17/2020 or at least they haven't reported it. So I am trying to see if anyone has received any tracking info or updates yet? Or did card printing completely shut down while they make this transition?

I am looking passed the opinion part by ignoring the suggestions this is the Trump administration's plan. However, it seems Corbin, KY may have halted production on EAD cards and I am trying to see if anyone who has been approved after that shutdown has gotten any correspondence that their cards are actually on their way.

Actually, it is a good question.  It could affect all of us....

my experience

06/19/2020 - We approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization.

06/19/2020 - We ordered your new card.

On July 9, 2020, we mailed your new card for your Form I-765

they still process it, it just takes ages.

My understanding is that they are still producing/mailing stuff out,  just at a much lower capacity. It seems like they are starting to mail out EAD approvals around 6/19.

I also track this website just for the purpose of getting a better idea of their shipping progress (https://opttimeline.com). I understand the website is for OPT EAD card only, but I assumed that they are printing all the EAD cards at the same facility anyway.

Yeah, same issue here.

Our EAD got approved 6/22 and we haven't heard anything since.

What's even more frustrating is that I got a job offer in the meantime for a position I am supposed to start next Wednesday.

I applied after we got the EAD approval because nobody could know that it takes them more than three weeks to send out the card (especially after hearing from people that got theirs within 5 days.

Right, I was just offered a job and now I am worried they might rescind the offer if I delay too long. I told the job it's taking like a month to send EADs but I am worried it may take even longer because EAD approvals are piling up. Maybe it's our fault for being eager to get back to work. I kind of wish USCIS did not notify me at all until they sent out the card. Manage expectations.
