Embassy India - Mumbai any update?

On March 31st 2020, we were notified by e-mail from the NVC that our K-1 visa was sent to the consulate in Mumbai and have heard nothing since. The US Dept of State shows the current status about our case, which I've included below.

 

Does anybody have any info on the following?:

 

1. Is there anything we can be doing in the meantime while we wait (DS-160, medical exam, forms etc.) or should we wait for the embassy to contact my fiance directly?

2. Anybody have any clue when they think the embassy/consulate in Mumbai will be open again for interviews?

You can interview once the consulate re-opens and starts to accept appointments.   Same answer that is giver every day to this question.  Watch the consulate website for updates.

You can find the packet 3 instructions on this site - use the search function or look at the regional forum.  Don't do the Ds-160 to soon as the fee expires after a year.  Don't do the medical until right before the interview.  Police clearances expire too.  The visa expires 6 months after the medical is done.   In the meantime review the guides here to become better acquainted with the process.

The consulate in Mumbai have been conducting interviews for medical scholars past 2 weeks under emergency appointments but they don't have an official opening date yet

On 5may 2020 we were notified by nvc that our CR1 visa send to consulate mumbai but still we have not received any interview appointment. When does it will be possible

I’m waiting for 75 plus day waiting for interviews letter also so may I know you are citizen of USA or permanent resident card holder so when will open embassy thanks

Hasn't been announced.   India needs to be in phase 3.  And don't expect K1s not already at the consulate to be in the first batches of interviews.

What phase now India and any news good please guys I miss my wife and now no international airlines no passport expire I’m in bad condition
