Hi there everyone,

I will be registering my wife to get her NBI clearance soon and wanted to know how long it's good for? I keep seeing 6 months to 1 year, but which is it?

If I submit it to the NVC and her interview is scheduled after the NBI expires is that still ok? Thanks!

Look at the required documents list on the Manila embassy website (the official site, not some third party website)  It clearly notes the expiration period of ONE year.

If any documents expire between submission and visa issuance they will need to be refreshed.

YMMV

NVC just prepares the documents for the embassy. What really matters is that documents are valid at the time of visa approval.

That's true, I'm thinking of how long it will take to get an interview now. All these delays because of the virus.
