Zoladen

Keep the faith ! It WILL be very shortly now. Don't let them get to you. Don't check their website more than once a day. Stay busy doing other things. It's a very unfair process, and being married only lengthens that time and makes it seem more unfair. In fact I may be in for the same long wait as Irene, she's bringing children over on a K4, just like I'm doing for my stepdaughter. Spouses with children , their times even seem longer. All of us in the March filers thread applied at the worst possible time. For whatever all the reasons we suffered because the Immigration Service increased fees, changed policies, etc.

Only God knows when this journey will end, keep praying Zoladen.

Thank you My Honey,I really hope so that I will get my approval within the next 2 weeks.

We called them a month ago,the answer was the same old.....

I have no touches,

so do not know what should we ask...

This waiting is horrible,I never was so nervous and helpless like nowadays.

Should I call them?

I am afraid that we'll get the same.: We are processing cases dated by FEB 2007. And nothing useful.

Sorry for the whining, but I feel that I am going mad.

Maybe this week will be the week.

As Parachute spoke in the previous message, this is an horrible experience for any person! No person should be seperated from their family months at a time! You try to keep yourself busy but, your family never leaves your heart. My values in life are my family! This process takes a extreme toll on a person and many days a feel I can hardly function. But, somehow you need to find the strength within because your family is counting on you. Be strong and don't let them get to you!

When applications were filed I believe USCIS was reconstructing their process and delayed many applications from Feb 2007 to April 2007. Because of raising the fees and transferring applications from service centers. Really,I believe they do not have the personel to take on all these transfers and unfortunately, many of us has experienced these delays! Hopefully they have hired more people and recognized the huge back log and corrected the situation! I really believe very shortly you will have your approvals. I am hoping for you by the end of this week.

I would call USCIS and tell them you filed in Feb 2007 and need to know an update on where your applications are. I have spoke to my congressman office several times and I have been told that CSC makes every effort to have applications approved in 6 months. I would even speak to them that you were advised from your congressman office this information. Good luck my friend and we will watch for your approvals!

Take care.

Kim

Zoolanden,

You are definitely next to get approved. Try to stay positive and try to keep yourself busy. I know its extremely hard. I check the USCIS site about 10 times a day. I have everyone in my prayers. This wait is really fustrating. I don't understand why CSC is all out of order. But i'm praying that late february and all march filers get approved before this month ends. Thanks everyone for your kind words.

Parachute4U, I am also, bringing over my stepson. So, the process is even more lengthy when children are involved?

Thank you too Approvalplease! I hope this thread will be empty within a couple weeks!

Parachute,when I joined to this site a few months ago,there was a lot K3,with "attached"K4.-s.

And their average waiting time was 2,5-3 mos, without RFE.(or with,in some cases).

I do not want to think that our process is longer because our children..It would be so bad..I do not want to think about it. :crying:

And if so,what about the K1/K2 process?

P.S. Approvalplease ,your NOA1 date same as mine( apr 09) or apr 06?

Zolanden,

I think I was exactly where you're at right now during the first half of August. Then I read the long message from RobinatAileen (I think it was about a week ago in this thread). Since then, I've mellowed out, knowing that my approval is coming soon. We've waited patiently for almost 6 months since our NOA1, what's another week or two  It's like taking a really long road-trip vacation.

My family used to drive from Kansas City to Florida every summer. All of us kids would be patient and easy-going until we got around the Southern Alabama/Florida border (hour 16 of an 18-hour trip). Then we would start driving our parents nuts from being so anxious to see the beach and our friends from Tennessee, Arkansas, and Louisiana who all went there the same week every summer. Once we got there, we were the happiest kids in the world.

Sorry about the long-winded story, but I guess my point is that we've waited so long and we're getting toward the end...soon we'll start getting all the approvals and interviews, etc. and we'll be with our spouses before we know it...and we'll be the happiest people in the world! We're in hour 16 of our 18-hour drive!

Dennis
