Current Fave TV Watching (last few months)

But like FutureMrs, I don't feel like digging either...and, if I recall, the last thread was about what show you haven't watched that was really popular anyway.

I've gotten kind of hooked on a few shows lately. We managed to get HBO, Cinemax and Starz for 15.00 less than we were paying before for six months (I talk to the ladies at the Charter office every month when I pay my bill and she hooked us up...the price was going up and I said..wow, getting hard to afford this..seriously!..and she said...just tell me you're going to drop digital cable, and I can get you a deal for six months...when that runs out, we'll figure it out from there. ) Cooooool of her! Anyway, we now have 3 premium channels for about 15.00 than we would have been paying with the price hike...about what we were paying before! Now that Charter has On Demand services, I am just loving it! Can do my chores and then reward myself with watching a show when the house is quiet or whenever I feel like it! Anyway, long story a tiny bit shorter...these are the ones I'm liking lately:

Big Love...

an HBO show about polygomy which, of course, I don't agree with!!! but it's a fun show...I'm liking it!

Sex in the City..

have always liked it, but didn't have HBO for a long time, so enjoy it sometimes. Surprisingly, for all you gutter minds I like the stories and relationships..not the "other" parts.

Been thinking of checking out Six Feet Under..that's on there too...and what is Entourage about?? Any recommendations from anyone??

I'm really hooked on the HBO documentaries too. I'm a sucker for most documentaries, so I watch them all the time.

Little People, Big World.

Craig doesn't care about this one, but Corey and I really enjoy it whenever we can catch it.

Deadliest Catch

about crab fishing...crazy stuff! We all enjoy watching this one together.

American Idol, of course. (Craig has downloaded some of Britian's Got Talent for Corey and I too, and we're enjoying those as well.)

I usually love ER, Oprah, Dr. Phil (sorry, I know, I know, but I like what I like! ) but I haven't watched any of those for several weeks now...no time, and I just watch them when I can anyway. I used to be a rabid Friends/ER fan,but not as much anymore. Face it...Dr. Greene is gone, Clooney is gone...Juliana Marguiles...

Hmmmmm...guess that's about it. If I think of any more, I'll post them. Otherwise, what are yours??? M.

Most of the good shows are on a break for the summer. I dont get cable so no HBO for me.

I get my tv through through the apt buildings cable line, So I get all the local channels, plus some channels that are free but not normally broadcast over the air. Like NASA TV. Also if i reset the tuner on my tv when people are normally watching OnDemand content, I can watch what they are watching .

My favs are Lost, Battlestar Galitica, Grey's Anatomy,Stargate SG1 & Stargate Atlantis, Heroes....

I did like Prison Break the first season but the second season wasn't all that great....

Hubby likes to watch Little People Big World, Hell's Kitchen, Ghost Hunters and House.... I like to watch those with him....

Oh and I also watch Top Chef and Project Runway on Bravo....

I have also been renting the TV show Andromeda over the last couple of months... I am about halfway through the 2nd season.. it is pretty good....

The Closer is great. We get it on DVD though, don't watch it on HBO cos we don't have it. House was great (finished now). I watch Sex and The City on The CW, they show it on there too. Love Scrubs.

So You Think You Can Dance is the only show I try to watch when it's on, though I missed last week's episodes. I like Entourage, but I don't have HBO. I should see if that's on iTunes....

Most of the shows that my husband and I watch are on summer break ... NCIS, CSI: Miami, the Unit. I had never watched these shows before last year, when we lived in an RV for the summer and only got 2 channels of TV. Now I am addicted.

We also watch Wife Swap, mostly to gawk at some of the CRAZY lifestyles (one family eating a completely raw diet including RAW CHICKEN!!!! Ewwwww).

My new absolute fave show is on the History Channel. It's called Ice Road Truckers and is a new series following 6 truckers who drive from Yellowknife to the Canadian diamond mines. It just began, so I have only seen 1 episode, but can tell this will be my summer show to watch. Ya gotta love all the Canadian accents on this show

This summer I've been watching Hell's Kitchen, So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef. Yes, I'm somewhat of a reality TV addict.

I love Heroes, Criminal Minds, Top Chef and Project Runway. I don't always watch when they are on but usually catch up online or in reruns if possible.

Another show that I have been loving even though i didn't expect to is Kathy Griffin My Life on the D-List. She is hilarious and I love how she isn't afraid to speak her mind especially about celebrities! Needs to clean up her mouth a little though.
