Asking for friend who married and sponsored his wife. Now his wife is US Citizen since last year and has sponsored her mom. His wife sponsored her same week she became citizen. Now her mom is most likely get her interview in coming month and my friend's wife started being verbally abusive and now she wants to leave my friend. My friends feels his wife's whole intention was to became citizen and leave him. How can he report this? Could he report his mother in law in this this fraud case?

Please help!

Usually the fraudulent ones leave as soon as they can get divorce waiver for RoC, but if he feels there was fraud he can try report his wife at https://www.uscis.gov/report-fraud/uscis-tip-form

No, there is nothing he can report against the mother in law. It does not sound like she has misrepresented anything in her immigration process. Fact that his wife sponsored her in the same week as she got citizenship is not unusual either - many new citizens sponsor parents as soon as they can. I’m sorry for his marital troubles, but to be honest I don’t think this complaint is going to go anywhere.
