it is done in the Philippines , also in Jewish culture. In the Philippines if you dont have it done u get made fun of big time i heard. In the Philippines they do it to the guys at like um 13 or younger. THey make u chew on some herb, have it done, then jump over some stream??? oh yeah my husband told me they do it when ur awake! he he he he!!!! maybe he was joking or sumthin???? LOL!

Check was cashed as of Sept 16th 2009

NOA Received 09/19/09 dated 09/14/09

I-797 Appointment Notice received 10/01/09 dated 09/25/09 (Biometrics)

Got they 10 year GC approval letter in the mail dated 01/08/10! yehey!

10 GREENCARD RECEIVED 01/20/10

Citizenship.......maybe............or maybe stay a permanent resident .......................

Yes, circumcision is actually a rite of passage for boys aged 12-14 in the Philippines in the old days. This rite is almost lost for those in highly urbanized areas and the babies are circumcised a day or so after birth. However, in the rural areas this is still a big (and painful) ritual that occurs during the summer month of May.

Yes, circumcision is actually a rite of passage for boys aged 12-14 in the Philippines in the old days. This rite is almost lost for those in highly urbanized areas and the babies are circumcised a day or so after birth.
