There are only a select few embassies (2) that I heard have their appointment scheduling open. Few will answer your question. Stay connected stay engaged.

Yes...I am curious to see if K1 visa processing continues after the declaration.  I haven't seemed to find an answer to this question.  No confirmation responses here, especially after 30 days, should be telling.

The visa process will revert to processing with little or no changes after the freeze is lifted. Some embassies are taking interview reservations for June/July others Aug. If they will remain, time will only tell. Nothing official has been posted. Best place to be right now is on your embassy's website for the most current information. What happens to someone else is no guarantee it will be the same for you. Stay engaged.

I wish my embassy's website was more helpful...it says nothing about current processing of K1's....they even responded to my email but still told me nothing...only the cited the declaration....that's just not clear enough information for most people...people want specific answers, not just a copy/paste of the declaration...the closest I have come to getting my question answered:  "Will K1 visas continue to be processed?" was from your response just now where you state processing will continue after the freeze.

Can I share somethings with you that I learned long ago about this process?

    • "the man with the gold makes the rules"
    • it will take as long as it will take 
    • no one with any certainty can tell you when some process will be completed
    • Your sense of urgency will never be equaled to what USCIS, NVC or your embassy demonstrates
    • Your journey is not going to mirror someone else's experience - yours and theirs are not the same
    • They only promised you a YES or NO answer. Never an exact time that their decision would be completed
    • Lowering your expectations will make you a much more relaxed individual
