I am trying to find the "grill" one would find at a Korean restaurant. For those who know what I am talking about...what is its proper name, and is there any place in the US that you could buy one?

It's not really a grill, but a bowl above hot coals. Inside the "bowl" there is a dome that you can grill pieces of meat and you put liquid around the dome boil or cook vegetables etc. :help:

Have you guys tried checking with anyone on here with a fiancee that's in Korea? It doesn't hurt to inquire and see if one could be sent to you from there ;)

Yeah thought about it...was hoping they would respond to this first, but if not I'll look around here and start asking

I bought them from Thailand.. from JJ market you can find the extra big one (biggie size) for 480 baht. It's quite heavy to bring but I have to lol.. I also have an extra one (small restuarant size one) if you are interested in paying the shipping ^^

Anya,

JJ market...is that the weekend market? I can have her check there for it. If I can't find elsewhere, I would be interested in the one you have if you still want to sell it.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Yep that is it though I am looking for something you can place on a tabletop. That one looks like something you put in to a table...more for a restuarant I think. The ones I remember over in Thailand had hot coals put inside and it was set on the table.

I think Bulgogi is the name of the dish you make on the grill.

I got something like that for one of our wedding gifts, instead of coals you use one of those hot candle things that get really hot to keep food warm. It's round and it looks just like that one that you have pictured on a table. It was sold at Linens-n-things. I bet you could use coals if you took it outside.
