Hello everyone I have a question, my husband went to pick up the medical documents in Santo Domingo but they only give him a vaccination

sheet. For my understanding they had to give me a closed package that he had to take to the interview himself is this so?

Most medical exams are sent directly to the consulate from the panel physician. If you want to be sure, contact the panel physician you visited. The vaccination record is proof of your vaccinations by a US approved panel physician so I suggest you keep that paperwork safe for possible future requirement.

If your medical isn’t at the consulate when you arrive at your interview, your case will be put into AP until the medical is received by the consulate. If the doctor has an internet site, check it out. Information may be provided on the site.

Sorry for asking but what does AP means?

Administrative processing. It’s a temporary “refusal” of the visa, until the remaining documents are submitted. Once the documents do reach the consulate, it is reviewed and then either fully approved and issued, or denied fully.

That happened  to my fiance and had to go  week after to pick up the packet.  I don't know when they are doing that  . They also send a copy over but I hope the physical  was done at least a month before the interview or it might not be there..
