First time filing taxes after K1. Looking for help from anyone with TurboTax experience

Hi all. I've read around on a few threads but I haven't found the answer I am looking for. Hopefully someone can help me out.

I am filing taxes for the first time with my wife since our K1. We are filing MFJ. She is currently a Green Card holder and has a SSN. I do my own taxes every year using the TurboTax Free Edition. I have ran through the program twice and have not found any mention or reference to Immigrant status. I posted a question on their forums but I have not gotten a response. Does anyone here use TT for filing their taxes? Some of the forum threads on their website include references to selecting "nonresident alien" or "resident alien" so I suppose it must exist, but I have not personally seen the option. I would appreciate any information.

I just filed mine two days ago using the TurboTax app. Just before I submitted it asked the status of me and my husband (USC, resident alien, non-resident alien, etc). It’s one of the last questions it asks.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

If you are electing to be treated as a resident alien for tax purposes, would you select resident alien?

Thanks

Also, did you have to upgrade from basic to deluxe?  Thanks

Free online will not handle foreign income which would be reported if your wife earned money abroad during the year 2019.  If she didn’t then free probably works.  She is a resident alien because she has a greencard. I am not aware of the IRS asking for alien status on a tax form despite what news people are hyping. TurboTax may ask so they can get into Foreign Income questions or try to get you to upgrade.

Any desktop version will have the forms needed to handle foreign income if she worked inher home country during 2019.
