I petitioned for my son since 2015. Had the interview at the embassy in Haiti on 09/26/18.  221 (g) extra document request made. Docs  submitted and received on 10/19/18. Receipt available

I have not heard anything from the embassy.  but they still have my son passport.  since then a lot of civil unrests in Haiti, thinks that maybe the reason why I did not hear from them. My friend checked  NVC this morning see below what she has found.

Please provide a written statement to the Embassy or Consulate outlining the circumstances beyond your control and noting that you still wish to pursue this visa petition.

As I said in the other thread, the status doesn’t seem to make sense. If there was an interview by definition the visa application was pursued. Suggest you call the embassy to clarify what the problem is.

Thanks all for your advises. I did email the embassy and now they are asking for a copy of my passport . I  did find my old passport but the cover and demographic pages are missing. If I send the remaining pages of the passport;  will the embassy be able to find out that the passport belongs to me without my demographics?
