Because a part of the RFIE (which I didn't copy here) asked for my birth certificate. I did include it in the original submission, together with a translation. However, I made the translation with a translator from my home country, who didn't know the format for USCIS and made it too crammed and technical. So I ended up having a translator from the USA doing it, and I looked for one that knew the USCIS format.
