Over 3 months and still no CEAC login?

Hello,

This is my first time posting here and I hope that it is in the correct place.

On 09/10/2019 my wife and I received our second approval letter for her CR1 Visa and her case went to the NVC; I've seen a lot of posts on here about how it takes 4-8 weeks for our case to be input into the system and receive our logon credentials for CEAC. But as of today, 12/19/2019, we have still not received our login information to continue the process. I've tried calling the NVC but wasn't offered much help when inquiring about my wife's case. Does this part of the process normally take a little longer at times? I've seen quite a few posts on here from people who received their letter after we did and have already gone to the next steps of the process.

Thank you for any input,

- Justin

Did USCIS send your case yet? If not you may want to call them and ask what the hold up is. If they have, try calling NVC again, did you give them your receipt number when you asked before? What did they say? Have they received it?

LilyJ thanks for your reply,

I did give the receipt number to the NVC when I called, they said that they had not input my case into their system yet and could not offer me any any further information. I will call the USCIS office today to see if it has been sent off; after getting the letter saying that we were approved and that they were forwarding our case to the NVC, I assumed that was it for USCIS.

Just an update,

After speaking with the NVC and USCIS again, I was informed that we are part of a government pilot program where they're attempting to electronically transfer data to the NVC from USCIS. They assure me that my case will take the same amount of time in total as a normal case but it certainly does not seem like it at this point. They also informed me that deadlines to complete the data transfer have already been pushed up and they can offer me no completion date as to when my file will actually reach the NVC.

Honestly, it's all a little disheartening.
