Tax documents question for Support Affidavit

Does anybody know if IRS transcripts for the past three years is sufficient or do they want the actual tax returns as well?

They certainly don't need both

transcripts are preferred.

thanks, that is what my gut told me but my fiancee found a graphic on a website that lists them both as line items.

Depends on consulate.   At my fiancees interview last week, my I-134 stack was like 100 pages thick ...

they only took form 134 and 1 year of tax transcript.   The rest were returned to me.  I have more than enough for 150% of poverty level.
