Domestic air travel while waiting for biometrics

Hi, my wife came to the U.S. with a K-1 visa in August and we got married a couple of days later. We immediately submitted her package for AOS and received  the NOA1.  We are waiting for the biometrics appointment but her I-94 and visa have expired. Other than her Russian passport, she has no U.S. ID; given this, is it possible for her to make a domestic trip by air from Boston to LA? Or she's likely to have issues at the airport? Thanks

Perfectly fine for her to travel domestically.  Bring a copy of the NOA1, marriage certificate, and passport along.

Thank you for the answer. I'm relieved

No problem. My wife and I had a ceremony in Florida a few months after our civil wedding and the return trip was after her I-94 expired. The only ID she had that was valid outside of Russia at the time was her Russian (international) passport. No problems.
