K1 visa issuance time

I would like to know how long does it take to get the k1 visa issued after the interview at the embassy.

Depends on the embassy as one factor but their are many other factors. No one can predict when your's will be released. I'd have a better guess for you but I don't know your embassy because your profile is incomplete.

 

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. I had my interview on October 21st at the us embassy in Algiers (Algeria).

Trust us from our experience you are in AP. Are you tracking the current update to your case on ceac.state.gov?

 

If not go to that website, enter either your DS-160 or your case number with the selection "immigrant", what are your results?

It says " Application received" case created in October 24. 

Do you have an idea how long does it take ?

Is it showing as nonimmigrant?

Then it is in final stages.   Every consulate is different as to how fast they complete the paperwork

My status just changed to "administrative processing" what does it mean ? Will it take  a long time ?

It means someone scanned the barcode and should be working on it

Does everyone receive AP or not ? Their definition of AP is that it's for extra security checking , is that true ? I'm lost

Everyone gets AP.  AP can mean extra background checks all the way to file maintenance getting it ready to print
