I received notification from USCIS that my I-130 for my parents transferred to NVC. It has been 3 weeks no words on any other step. How long will take before I hear from NVC ?

This shows the current cases they are processing. Normally it takes 4 weeks from the day they receive it, not the shipment date.

You still have not filled out your timeline so we don't know which country you are from. Fill it out, it will help to answer the questions and that way you are also helping the community by being a part of the statistics.

Once the case number is created, you have to pay the fees. It should take about 3 days to process and then you can start uploading documents. Nobody can tell how fast this is going to be. They are working on documents submitted on Sep 12.

On average, it is taking 4-6 weeks for documents to be reviewed. Our took 6 weeks while some people here got approved in a day!

Once all documents are accepted, you will be in queue for Interview. Some embassies are heavily backlogged, so it all depends on your country. That is why we need to know your timeline.

Immigration is not fast...you will need to be patient.

You are welcome and also thank you for completing the timeline. Make sure you pay the fees as soon as possible. Also looks the NVC website and monthly NVC thread here on VJ for all required documents needed for submission.

You may want to ask this question in NVC thread or country specific forum.
