AP to Issued after US Embassy Manila interview

Hi everyone! I'm new here. I just want to ask if there are members here who recently got interviewed at USEM, how many days/weeks did you wait for the status to change to Issued? Like everyone else, I'm getting anxious. After the interview, the CO said, she'll recommend the approval of my visa and wait for 2 to 4 weeks for it to be delivered/picked up. But until now, my status is AP. Thank you so much!!

When was your interview?

Everyone goes through Administrative Processing (AP) but each case is different; some are in AP for days, some for weeks, some for months, etc.

Thank you! I was interviewed just last Wednesday. I know it's too soon to get anxious. Lol. I just pray that I'll not stay in AP for weeks or worse, months. But thank God, I'm almost at the finish line :) Looking at the brighter side. 😇

If you were not given (emailed) a 221g by the embassy, all you need to do for now is be patient.

Do you have CFO-GCP completed?

I think that it's good that the CO gave you an estimated turnaround time. You also didn't mention being given a 221g; if you weren't, then I think that you won't be in AP for an extended period of time.

Thank you for your inputs! Yes I was not given anything after the interview. Just the small piece of paper then the CO said to call the number to verify the address for visa delivery/pick up. I'll keep myself busy over the weekend. I'm hoping for a good news next week. Thanks again!

Thanks again, Hank. I'll do the PDOS (which is the one required for my visa category) after I get the visa (hopefully soon!). You've been very helpful to all of us here!

My bad, I did an assumption that you were K-1 or IR/CR-1  (no info in your profile or timeline) ...   Yes for all others it is PDOS, which you can't schedule your appt until after you have the visa in hand.

Another reason to keep and or update your timeline, so people will be able to give you the most updated and correct information for your country and or your visa class or type.
